Delois Strickland, 78, a resident of Slocomb, died at her residence on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was born in Houston County to the late Irby Oliver and Ressie (Eldridge) Oliver.

 

Graveside services will be 11:30 AM, Monday, December 14, 2020 at Madrid City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, Monday at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

 

Delois loved her family dearly.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ronnie Strickland, brothers, Ronnie Oliver, Robert Oliver, Leroy Oliver, and Derwood Oliver, sisters, Sherry Lassiter, Connie Asbel, Betty Jo Oliver, and Christine Farmer.

 

Survivors include her brother, Gary Oliver, sister, Edith (Ray) Smith, sister-in-law, Bonnie Robert, brother- in- law, Tim Lassiter, five step-children, Tamela Yeomans , Rhonda Crecelius , Lisa Bates , Jessie Waters, Jesse Strickland , Eric Strickland, and several loving nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and loving family members.
