Mr. Deryl Smith of Summerdale, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was 63.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Revs. Ricky Hall and Gary Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 6 until 8 p.m.

Deryl was born in Geneva, AL on October 01, 1957 to the late Henry Jessie “Bo” and Gladys MaeBell Sasser Smith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan, “ROLL TIDE”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Terrell and Eddie Smith, two sisters, Sue Hendrix and Dianne Argenziano, one great grandson, Jackson Shane.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dianna Tidwell Smith of Summerdale, AL, two sons, Travis Smith (Martha) of Summerdale, AL and Trey Smith (Alicia) of Foley, AL, one daughter, Jessica Mitchell of Summerdale, AL, eight grandchildren, Kayla Warren (Joe) of Enterprise, AL, Kelsey Lindley (Jacob) of Enterprise, Al Adrianna Smith of Dothan, AL, Terra Harris(Jacob) of Geneva, AL, Dawson Smith of Summerdale, AL ,Baylee Smith of Summerdale, Al Nathan Smith of Foley, Al Trent Smith of Foley, Al four great grandchildren Jay Berry of Dothan, Al Hazel Grace Lindley of Enterprise, Al Brooklyn Warren of Enterprise, Al and Paisleigh Harris of Geneva, AL. one brother Tommy Smith of Black, Al and several nieces and nephews and extend family.
