Diana Lynne Harkins, a resident of Ozark, AL passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her residence. She was 67.
The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am.
Diana, loved by many, was a strong, independent, blunt and opinionated, yet caring and gentle woman. She lived unapologetically with seemingly no regrets. Diana questioned and challenged conventional thinking yet accepted so many who believed in different views from her. She embodied unconditional love and kindness for family, friends and strangers.
Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Harkins; her brothers, Ronnie Lester and Robbie Lester; and her great granddaughter, Mackenzie Wilson.
Survivors include her son, Daniel (Janet) Rendon; her daughter, Amy (Mark) Stone; her grandchildren, Chris Stone, Daniel Stone, Ethan Rendon, Matthew Rendon, Donnie Wilson and Kelsey Wilson; her great grandchildren, Norah Stone, Sage Stone, Clayton Wilson and Donovan Wilson; her brothers, Donnie Lester and John Lester; and several nieces and nephews.
