Diane M. Jenkins, a resident of Dothan, passed away on December 30, 2020. She was 83.
A family service will be held at a later date.
Diane was born on February 13, 1937 to the late Stewart and Dorothy Martin. She worked as a Clerk with the U.S. Civil Service for 25 years before retiring in 1996 to be with her grandchildren. Diane was a dedicated member of Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church. She was the most kind and compassionate woman and did not have a mean bone in her body and would give everybody her full attention. Diane had a love for horses and cats, especially her feline friend, Diva. She also enjoyed coloring, music, and gardening. Diane touched many hearts, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter-in-law, Taggie Jenkins.
She is survived by her son, Jim Jenkins; her two daughters, Kimberly (Keith) Sherman and Kathy (David) Wells; her three grandchildren, Derek Grantham, Lexy Richardson, and Kevin Grantham; and her brother, Don (Jeanette) Martin.
