Mr. Dirk Ohlen Barnett, of Enterprise, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at UAB Hospital.  He was 60.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Dirk was born April 19, 1957, in Akron, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Barnett and Phyllis Dishon Barnett; loving brother, Danny Barnett; loving son, Zachary Barnett; and parents-in-law, Harold and Irene Johnson.

 

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of eighteen years, Debbie, of Enterprise; two sons: Justin Barnett of Atlanta, GA, and Derrick Barnett of Aurora, CO; daughter, Emily Barnett of Charlotte, NC; brother, David Barnett of Medina, OH; two sisters: Dianne Gerspacher and Darla Ott, both of Medina, OH; four grandchildren: Serenity, Hylii, Hayleigh, and Justin, Jr. (Bubba).
