Mr. D.L. White of Bonifay, FL passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was 80.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Gail Maul and Rev. Wesley Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The family request that flowers be omitted, and memorial contributions be made in memory of Mr. White to Whitewater Baptist Church, 1199 Hwy 179 Bonifay, FL 32425.

Mr. White was born on September 15, 1941 in Holmes Co., FL to the late Fount and Minnie Bell Davis White. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He often said that his greatest accomplishment in his life was his family that he had been blessed with. He retired from Benson Wholesale as a supervisor in the warehouse after 20 years of employment. He started D.L. White Trucking Co. after his retirement from Benson and operated his trucking company for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed antique cars. He was a faithful member of Whitewater Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Cindy White and seven siblings.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Joyce White of Bonifay, FL; one son, Donel White of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Betty Joyce Belisle (Keith) of Samson, AL; two grandsons, Justin Donel White (Jazmin) of Okeechobee, FL and Brad Clayton White (Chelsea) of Bonifay, FL; two great grandsons, Levi and Wyatt White, both of Bonifay, FL; one sister, Eva Dell Anderson of Bonifay, FL and a host of special nieces and nephews.
