Mr. Donald Chester Gillespie of Dothan died Thursday, January 26, 2012, at his residence. He was 76.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2012, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Doug Seale officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mr. Gillespie was born February 25, 1935, in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of the late Chester Gillespie and Grace Barrett Gillespie. He loved his wife and family. He also loved to fish and play dominos at Hunts Place.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Danny Gillispie.

 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Gillespie of Dothan; sister, Judy Mayes of Detroit, Michigan; one granddaughter, Heather Gilliespie, and several nieces and nephews.
