Donald Lee Clements, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his residence. He was 76 years old.
Mr. Clements was born on April 22, 1945 in New Castle, PA and lived there all of his life until he moved to Dothan in 2005. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Navy on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt aircraft carrier. When he returned to New Castle he was employed with North American Rockwell for several years. Mr. Clements enjoyed sports, especially football, baseball, and hockey. While he was living in Pennsylvania, Mr. Clements was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates fan, but after moving to Dothan he would learn to love the Atlanta Braves.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Hugh Clements and Ethel Stewart Clements; and his brother, Clifford Clements.
Survivors include his daughters, Christine Clements and Connie Clements; his grandchild, Lemieux Clements; his sister, Lois Stevenson; and his furry canine companion “Buddy”; and several nieces and nephews.
