Donald Sampson

Donald Sampson passed from this life into eternity on September 3, 2021.

Donald was born in Abbeville, Alabama on June 3, 1962, to Annie Lee (Sampson) Ross and Robert Earl Grace. Donald had a big heart and a kind spirit. He was a friend to many. He also had a passion for music. He attended Abbeville High School and lived in Abbeville most of his life until moving to Dothan, AL where he lived the remainder of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Lee (Sampson) Ross.

Donald is survived by four brothers: Curtis Sampson of Mobile, AL, Milton Sampson of Abbeville, AL, Frankie (Regina) Ross of New York, NY and Roosevelt Ross of Dothan, AL; and one sister: Annie (Priscilla) Ross of Durham, NC. His aunt: Mary Catherine Ward of Abbeville, AL, and an uncle, Robert Sampson of Long Island, NY. He had a niece and a host of nephews, cousins, and great nieces and nephews who loved and cherished him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 17th at 10:00 am in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
