MIDLAND CITY. . .Donald Silas Beverett, a resident of Midland City, died early Wednesday evening, February 5, 2020, in the Dale Medical Center in Ozark. He was 77.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 8, 2020, in the Mt. Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary.

     Donald was a lifelong resident of the Christian Hill Community of Dale County, son of the late Talmadge Spurgeon Beverett and Minnie Lou Woodham Beverett.

     Surviving relatives include his brother, Ronald Paul Beverett, Midland City; a niece, Mary Elaine Rogers (Kent); a nephew, Randy Paul Beverett (Rachel); two great-nieces and a great-nephew; special friends, Darrell and Alivia Blackmon.
