Donna Dalena Gallick, 79, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Enterprise, AL. 

She was born in Galena, Ohio. She was a graduate of Worthington High School and went on to beauty school in Columbus, Ohio. She was a beautician and a dental hygienist.  She was a 20+ year lung, brain and eyelid cancer survivor. 

Mrs. Gallick was the widow of Andrew Earnest Gallick. She also was preceded in death by her parents Harold Vinton Longshore and Ella Leota Longshore of Galena, Ohio, and a brother Harold Richard Longshore of Dayton, Ohio. 

She is survived by one daughter, Sheryl Ann Jackson and her husband Robert Scott Jackson, and her granddaughters Taylor Ella Jackson and Cara Ann Jackson all of Enterprise, Alabama. She is also survived by one son, Mark Vinton Gallick and his partner Deborah Velyvis and granddaughters Emma Nicole Gallick and Elise Florence Gallick all of Terrigal, Australia. One brother Larry Michael Longshore and his wife Joan Longshore of Galena, Ohio, one sister Linda Lou Downing and her husband Ray Downing of Monroe, Georgia. Also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel of Sorrels Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Deese providing the eulogy.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. 

The family would like to extend a special and sincere thank you and appreciation to Dr. Young, all the caring, devoted, and loving nurses and CNAs on Hall 5 at the Enterprise Health and Rehab, and all the staff at Kindred Hospice for their special, compassionate care and support during this difficult journey.
