HEADLAND. . .Donna S. Medina, a resident of Headland, died Wednesday afternoon, June 5, 2019, at her home. She was 73.

     Memorial services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, June 8, 2019, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. A private entombment will follow in the Gardens of Memory mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 11:30 A.M. Saturday in the mortuary chapel.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Felines Under Rescue, P.O. Box 1788, Dothan, AL 36302.

     Mrs. Medina was a native of Warner Robins, Georgia and moved to Headland in 2000. She was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church. Mrs. Medina was employed as a Real Estate Agent and also as a secretary for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross James Sedita and Hannah Elizabeth Estes Sedita, her husband, Gabriel L. “Gabe” Medina and her son, Gabriel Ross Medina.

     Surviving are special friends, Cindy L. Grace and husband, Larry, Wicksburg, and Steve Crozier, Headland.

     The family would like to express their appreciation to Sarah Larsen Andrews, Heather Grace, Dan Estes, Marta Brackin, Dr. Niel Rasmussen, the Headland Fire & Rescue and the Headland Police Department for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Medina during her illness and a special thank you to Chris Money for his guidance and counsel.
