DOTHAN…Donny Brannon, a resident of Dothan, died Monday morning, August 31, 2020 in a Dothan hospital. He was 56.


     Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 3, 2020, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Judy Dyson and Reverend Bobby Dyson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the mortuary. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.


     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church, 2114 County Road 75, South, Pansey, AL 36370.


     Donny was born and reared in Headland, son of the late Rudon Brannon and Sarah Barefield Brannon. He was employed as a Tow Truck Driver with Full Circle Towing & Recovery of Dothan. Donny was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Edwin Brannon.


     Surviving relatives include two daughters, Casey Brannon (John Ingram), and Chelsi Brannon Holley (Taylor), all of Dothan; three sisters, Faye Brannon, Headland; Katie Mathis (Wayne), Taylor; and Hope Arnold (Bobo), Dothan; two brothers, Todd Brannon (Rinda), Pansey; and Bobby Brannon (Barbara), Dothan; two granddaughters, Madison Ingram and Mallory Ingram; a granddaughter on the way, Marley Jo Ingram; and the mother of his children, Amy Brunson, Webb; two very special friends, Phillip Snider and James Snider; several nieces and nephews.
