Eufaula, Alabama. . .Doris Ellen Huff, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, died early Monday morning, April 1, 2024, in a Dothan, Alabama hospital. She was 88.

            Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:40 P.M. Saturday at Waite & Son Funeral Home in Brunswick, Ohio. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of local arrangements.

            Mrs. Huff was born and reared in Rogers, Texas, daughter of the late Daniel Furman Cook and Margaret Broussard Cook. She lived in Medina County, Ohio most of her adult lifetime before moving to Alabama in 2023. Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Huff and all her sisters and brothers.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Marilyn Horning, Medina, Ohio; and Diane Thomas (Will), Eufaula, Alabama; two sons, James R. Huff, Parma, Ohio; and Mike Huff (Keri), Medina, Ohio; grandchildren, Hailey Fleming, Shawn Lackey (Meliza), Erica Morales and Evan Metzer; a great-granddaughter, Bella Morales; several nieces and nephews.
