Doris Glosson

 

Doris Lee Glosson, native to Tennessee, passed away Sunday December 8, 2019 surrounded by her family in Dothan Alabama at the Henry County Health & Rehab center.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Glosson, unborn son Charles Glosson, parents Leroy & Sara White Nations, as well as her brother Charles Nations.

Surviving family includes daughters Rebecca Glosson and Cheryl Masoner, son-in-law Robert Masoner, grandchildren Hannah, Harley, Seth, and Zebulon Masoner, beloved companion Rodger Rothert, sister Patsy Carter, and trustee pup Hagrid.

Doris was born in Mississippi then later relocated to Tennessee. There she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She dedicated her life to healing others by practicing and teaching as a Registered Nurse in the healthcare field for over fifty years. She was President of the Tennessee Nursing Association and active member of service in the Lion’s Club. A strongly fought battle with dementia lead Doris to move to Dothan Alabama a few months ago to be closer to her children and grandchildren during her time of need.

 

Memorial services will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church, Tuesday, December 17 at 10:30 A.M.
