Doris Jones Coles, age 74, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home.   

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Enterprise with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. until service time. 

She was preceded in death by her father Louie Frank Jones, brother Jake Childs, sister Annette Martin and two daughters Kelly Townsend and Shelly Harrell.

Survivors include her husband, Louis W. Coles, Enterprise, AL; two sons, Clay W. Coles, New Market, AL; Cary Coles (Rachel), Chancellor, AL; mother, Eunice Pearl Jones, New Brockton, AL; three sisters, Joyce Kelly (Fred), Enterprise, AL; Madelyn Adkison, New Brockton, AL; Julia Carter, Porter, TX; four brothers, Jerry L. Jones (Freda), Enterprise, AL; Randall Childs (Bernice), Orlando, FL; Therman Childs, Apopka, FL; Gerald Childs (Nancy), Winter Garden, FL; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Southern Care Hospice and nurses Jodee Norwood, Mindy Grace and Zee Hart.
