Dorothy Eubanks Johnson passed to her Eternal Home on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his residence in Donalsonville, GA.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Jimmy Dean and Rev. Mike Heath officiating.  Interment will follow in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 5:00-6:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church.  You may sign the online guest register and share your thoughts with the family by visiting our website at www.evansskipperfh.com.

 

Ms. Johnson was born in Pansey, AL on December 30, 1929 to the late Grady and Daisy Beasley Eubanks.  She attended Harmon Elementary School in Gordon, AL and graduated from Ashford High School. She worked at Dickies and served 26 years as City Clerk for the City of Donalsonville. She was a honorary member of the Donalsonville Police Department and served as Department “MaMa”.

 

She is survived by her sister, Merle Alday of Eton, GA; brother, Lenward Sonny Eubanks of Donalsonville, GA as well as special cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Daisy Eubanks; her husband, Heyward Johnson; and her daughter, Elizabeth Jan Hatcher.

 

Ms. Dorothy will always be remembered for her love of family and community.

 

Casketbearers will be Todd Howard, Daniel Johnson, Justin Johnson, Tyler Herrington, Dillon Alday, Ryan Easterwood.

 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia 1323 East Shotwell Street Bainbridge, GA  39817
