Dorothy Marie Gulledge was born on February 25, 1943 to Frank & Mildred Jones in Dothan, Alabama, she passed away on September 29, 2023 Peacefully in her home on Lake Eufaula surrounded by family.

Dorothy was a faithful, loving and amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Memama), Sister & Friend. She touched thousands of lives with her beautiful soul and spirit. She Loved and Served God with her whole life and was loved by many people that were truly touched by her Faith in God. She was a true prayer warrior, servant of God and loved her family more than anything.

She leaves behind a beautiful family. Her husband of 60 years, Donald Franklin Gulledge Sr, 3 Children, Don Gulledge Jr. (Karla), Hugh Gulledge, Shannon Horne (Bryan), 7 Grandchildren, Jordan Rideau (Byron), Drew Gulledge (Jill), Dayla Gulledge, Dylan Gulledge, Logan Horne, 1 Great Grandson, Roman Rideau, 1 Brother Walter Jones and many nieces & nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her Parents Frank & Mildred Jones, Grandmother, Mary Wingate, and one Brother, Benny Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Glover Funeral Home with Reverend Murray D. Kelley and Pastor Bryan Horne officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m.

The family would like to thank everyone who has prayed with us, reached out to us, and trusted God with us. We would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Care for all they have done and our amazing nurse, Angie Jones, who took such good care of her & us. We are grateful for your love and support for our family.
