            Mrs. Dorothy R. Knight of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.  She was 71.

            Funeral services will be at 12 noon Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Minister Ira H. Belford officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 10 am and continuing until service time.

            Mrs. Knight was born February 6, 1940 in Enterprise to the late Rosevelt and Lessie Campbell Williams.  She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.

            Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Thelma Knight, Jr., Enterprise; 5 daughters: Patricia Dawson (Earl), Daleville, AL, Dorothinia Moran (Bill), Huntsville, AL, Elizabeth Knight, Enterprise, Altomese Fleming, Enterprise, Vanessa Washington (Curt), San Antonio, TX; 2 sons: Wilbur Knight, Enterprise, Felix Knight (Brenda), Huntsville, AL; siblings: Rosie Bell Williams, Elba, AL, Johnny Williams, Ozark, AL, Earlene Ownes (Elvis) and Charles Williams (Gwen), all of Saginaw, MI.
