Dorothy S. Spann of Geneva passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 86.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Paul Alexander officiating.  Burial will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Spann was born in Geneva on August 13, 1928 to the late Ewell Seay and Audrey Noblin Seay. She graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Spann; four brothers, Frank Seay, Dempsey Seay, Bob Seay and Rex Seay; sister, Mary Forehand; and two nephews, Jeremy Seay and Aaron Seay.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Seay of Geneva; two brothers, Tom Seay (Denise) and Don Seay (JoAnn), both of Enterprise; and numerous nieces and nephews.
