Dorsey Chalmus Kelley, Jr., passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, April 15, 2024. Junior was born in Skipperville, Alabama on January 28, 1939, to Lettie Pearl (Peg) and Dorsey Kelley, Sr. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anne Burke Kelley, his daughters, Kathi (Brian) Atkins and Tami Todd, and his grandchildren, Eli Howell, Mary Frances Howell, James Atkins, and Leigh Anne Atkins. He is also survived by his brother, Joe (Margeret) Kelley, sister-in-law Charlotte Solomon, and nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the New Season Care Team Annie Redding and Day Spring Hospice for their care and kindness.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Glover Funeral Home with Reverend Stephanie Cox officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
