Douglas Allen Vandegrift of Samson, AL passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Wiregrass Medical Center. He was 57 years old.

Douglas was born in Geneva, AL on August 29, 1965 to William Vandegrift and Sarah Martha Roberson Vandegrift.

Douglas is preceded in death by one daughter, Taya Vandegrift; mother, Sarah Martha Roberson Vandegrift; two brothers, Chris Moore, and Vince Jones.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Hope Vandegrift of Black, AL; daughter, Haley Vandegrift (Corwin); son, Tyler Vandegrift (Caitlyn); father, William Vandegrift (Robin) of Milton, FL; brother, David Vandegrift of Samson, AL, and companion, Tracy Coskry.
