Douglas Noel Kahler

 

Douglas Kahler, age 67 of Dothan, died Sunday afternoon at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness.

At the request of Mr. Kahler, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held later.

Mr. Kahler was born December 10, 1951 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Mr. Harry Kahler and Martha Kile Kahler. He served in the Air Force for 23 ½ years. Douglas and his wife Leigh lived in Panama City, Florida since 1993 and then moved to Dothan in November 2018.  He and his wife has been attending Denton United Methodist Church in Dothan, Alabama.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, David Kahler and a sister Joan Tressler.

Survivors include his wife, Leigh Kahler of Dothan; a son and daughter in law Jamie Kahler (Ericka) of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
