Doyle L Holland (Dutch)

Doyle L. Holland (Dutch) of Dothan, AL entered heaven after his long battle with cancer. He was 73 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00am.

Doyle graduated from Poplar Springs High School, where his basketball team won the state championship two years in a row. Doyle proudly served his country and retired from the Air Force. He was a skilled B52 aircraft mechanic and a Vietnam veteran. Doyle was a great leader and mentor. He was a member of the I.A.M. Union. Doyle also retired from Pemco World Air Services.

Doyle is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Noel.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Amanda; grandsons, Marco and Alex; sister, Dianne; sisters-in-law, Patty and Alice; nephews, Dean, Dave, Dan; niece, Michelle; and grand dog.
