DUANE WESLEY PARKER
HEADLAND.…Duane Wesley Parker, a resident of Headland, AL passed away Friday afternoon, October 9, 2020, at a Dothan Hospital. He was 79.
No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Parker was born in Graham, Missouri to the late Lester Wesley Parker and Della Marie Parker. He served his country in the U.S. Army, where he lived several places around the United States before coming to Headland, Alabama over 45 years ago. He was a diesel mechanic and loved tinkering on anything mechanical. People would bring things by for him to fix all the time.
Along with his parents, Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his siblings, Margie Lane, Mary Horn, Shirley McKenny, Norene Randall, Allan Parker, Gary Parker, Larry Parker, and Burt Parker.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his sons, William Parker (Katie) of Headland, AL, Dewey Parker (Tammy Richter) of Dothan, AL, Wesley Parker (Beth) of Maryville, MO, and Wendell Parker of Maitland, MO; his sister, Joyce Drummond; his brothers, Lester Parker and Leon Parker; his grandchildren, Wes Parker, Colton Parker, Jasmine Parker, Will Parker, Ella Parker, Dylan Parker, and Madelyn Parker; several nieces and nephews.
