Mr. Duncan Eugene Holloway of Geneva, Alabama died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at the age of 86.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with the Minister Douglas Williams officiating and Chaplain (LTC) Craig Holloway giving the eulogy. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Holloway’s memory to Camp Wiregrass, P.O. Box 311072, Enterprise, AL 36331-1072.

Duncan was born May 6, 1933 in Florala, Alabama to the late William Joseph and Hettie Beason Webb Holloway.  He was a loving husband of 63 years, father and grandfather.  He proudly served his Country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict where he earned the National Defense Service Medal. He attended the Geneva Church of Christ for 48 years.  He loved his Church and Church family and enjoyed music.  He loved to kid and joke around.  He will be dearly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; Maudie Grissette and Edna Brannon; and two brothers; Wayne and Lee Holloway.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Alice Holloway, Geneva, Alabama; three sons; Danny Holloway (Carolyn) Geneva, Alabama, Carl Holloway (Shana) Geneva, Alabama and Craig Holloway (Kim), Montgomery, Alabama; Granddaughter; Amy Holloway Harris (John) Geneva, Alabama and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chris Cosper, Dr. John Simmons and the staff at the Wiregrass Medical Center for all the care we were given.
