Edith Lindsey Dell, a resident of County Rd. 14, Midland City, died Monday morning, September 26, 2022 at her home. She was 93. Grave side services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, 28 2022 at Sylvan Grove cemetery with Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mrs.Dells home following the grave side service. Mrs.Dell was a lifelong resident of the Sylvan Grove community of Dale County, daughter of John W. Lindsey and Mary Lee Lindsey. She and her husband where members of the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church. She assisted on the family farm transporting produce to the wiregrass stores. Surviving relatives include her two daughters Lindsay Denise Dell, Birmingham, Wanda Bowden and husband, Bruce, Ozark; three grandchildren, Jason Braswell and wife, Teresa, Starr Folger and husband, Ken and Adam Braswell, great-grandchildren, Kallen Shaver, Faith Shaver and fiancé Tyler Larsen, Ava Grace Braswell, Tanner Folger, Elizabeth Folger, Trey Windham and wife Ashley, Trever Windham and wife Caroline, Lyndee Weathington Chase Weathington and Bentley Weathington. Special thanks to Angel Shirley, Kathy McGowan, Teresa Temples, Demetrius Key and Kindred Hospice for their loving care giving to Mrs. Edith Dell. Serving as active pallbearers will be Jason Braswell, Adam Braswell, Ken Folger, Bruce Bowden, and Tyler Larsen.
