HALEBURG. . .Edna Jo Henry Zamora, a former resident of Haleburg, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. She was 84.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Zamora was born in Arkansas and moved to Henry County, Alabama in the 1990’s. She was a member of the Camp Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Zamora was preceded in death by her parents, George R. Nelson and Opal Slaton Nelson, and two sons, Bernard Branum and Ray Vines.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Leo Zamora; three grandchildren, Raborne Vines, Michael Vines and Bernard Branum.
