EDWARD EARL “HOSS” GAMBLE

KINSEY, AL… Edward Earl “Hoss” Gamble, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his home. He was 83.

            Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with the Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            Mr. Gamble was born in the Pleasant Plains Community, between Headland and Columbia, Alabama, to the late Marvin George Gamble and Lillian Luverne Hughes. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was formerly employed by G.F.A. Transportation, Lane Trucking, and Freightliner, all of Dothan, Alabama.

            Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kathryn Hicks Gamble; a brother, Charles W. Gamble; a sister, Willa Dean Saltz; a brother-in-law, James Rudolph Johnson.

            Leaving to cherish his memories is his daughter, Dana Lynn Keisling (Kennith Gordy); his sister, Ann Gamble Johnson; his grandson, Adam Keisling ; and several nieces and nephews.
