Mr. Eddie Turner age 80 of Opp, Alabama passed away on October 7, 2022 at Mizell Memorial Hospital following an illness.  Per family wishes, a direct cremation was performed.  There are no services planned at this time.

Mr. Turner was born March 13, 1942 to Mason Turner and Rose Gamble Turner.  Eddie spent his early years in Newark, New Jersey before moving to the Wiregrass area.  He enjoyed Western Movies on TV.  He was a good-hearted man, very kind, giving and lovable.  He was also a Mason.    

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Robbie Turner; brothers Mason Turner, Robert Turner, Andrew Turner; sister Lillie Bonds, Margaret Murphy, Ossie Piegaro.

Survivors include his sons Teddy Hudgens, Eddie Turner, Jerome Turner, Ashley Hudgens; grandchildren Zianna Hudgens, Keshaun Hudgens, Brandon Hudgens, Teddrick Hudgens; great grandchildren Zaven Hudgens, Zaylon Hudgens; sister Rachel Vail, Lena Jones (Albert); special nieces Rose Stokes, Marie Mathis, Linda Pierce, Elaine Milton, Edith Bonds, nephews Kenny Turner, Larry Turner, Quince Turner, Walter Turner, Byron Bonds.
