Mr. Edward Eugene Smith, of Geneva, Alabama died Wednesday, August 18,2021 at the age of 46.

 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22,2021 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral of Geneva with Rev. Stephen Hendrick, officiating and burial to follow in the Black Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 21,2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

 

Gene was born April 23,1975 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Bobby Smith and Betty J. Zepeda. He was a loving son, husband father and grandfather.

 

Gene is survived by his wife: Gloria A. Smith, three children: Michael (Destiny), Blade Smith and Ryan Smith; his mother: Betty Zepeda, Geneva, Al; Brothers: Rex (Sandy) Smith and Junior Zepeda; Sister: Debbie (Cody Blackburn) Vaughan; Grandson: Mason Smith; nephews: Jonathan (Chelsey) Smith and Shade Zepeda and Niece: Taylor (Gage Ammons) Vaughan.
