Edward Henry Chestnut “Hank”, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital at the age of 58. He was born October 13th, 1964 in Orlando, Fl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Nita Chestnut & Sandy Hazlett.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023 in the chapel of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Roderick Rider of Samson, AL officiating and Jimmy Bottoms directing. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time.

He was a big racing fan. Hank grew up racing in a racing family. He raced in numerous tracks all around Florida and Alabama. He was also a dedicated Alabama fan. When he was able to work, he enjoyed traveling all over the United States welding. Hank loved being able to take his daughter and grandchildren to different theme parks and other attractions.

He had his companion and best friend, his dog Bailey, who he loved so much.

Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Bowdoin of Samson, AL; one, sister Debbie Jenkins (Lakeland, FL); and two brothers, David Hazlett and Michael Hazlett (Debbie) of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Addison Mock, Brynlee Bowdoin and Ryland Bowdoin all of Samson, AL; along with several nieces and nephews.
