Edward Joseph Sudina, Sr.

Edward Joseph Sudina, Sr., known as Suds, was born February 25, 1963 in Elyria, Ohio to James Alexander Sudina and Beverly Gayle Seneff Sudina. Suds died March 5, 2021 at the age of 58 after a battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Moving from Grafton, Ohio and bringing with him his friend and companion, Judy Henke, they began their retirement in Ashford where they lived for two and a half years. Suds proudly served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for over 20 years. He was an officer and member of the VFW Post 3073 in Dothan. Suds was a professional truck driver for many years, and he even completed an associate degree as a Medical Assistant. Suds was a good cook who always wanted to feed his friends and helped many people, at times at the cost of his own sacrifices. Suds will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Suds.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Anthony Michael Sudina.

Suds is survived by his daughter, Lisa Michelle Sizemore; his son, Edward Joseph Sudina, Jr., who he nicknamed “Bubba”; four grandchildren; and two brothers, James Michael (Vicki) Sudina and Chester Patrick (Michelle) Sudina.
