EDWARD WARE BROOKS
DOTHAN, AL… Edward Ware Brooks, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at a Dothan hospital. He was 74.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Darryl Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Brooks was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Emma Beatrice Brooks. He was disabled due to an accident at an early age. He was a member of Greater Beulah Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.
Along with his mother, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, J.D. Carroll, Sr.; his sisters, Mary Ann Brooks and Alice Brooks Pittman; his brother, J.C. Carroll; and his sister-in-law, Sandra Carroll.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his siblings, Catherine Carroll Long (J.B.), Elizabeth Curry (Eddie), Robert Earl Carroll (Mae Liza), Bobby Lee Carroll (Joann), George Carroll (Joan), Kenneth Carroll, Joseph Carroll, and J.D. Carroll, Jr. (Annie Pearl Knight); and a host of nieces and nephews.
