OZARK… Elijah Steven “Eli” Maund, ten-month-old son of Preston and Mikaela McClellan Maund, died late Saturday evening, June 1, 2019 in a Birmingham hospital.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Chalkhead Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Woodham and Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary.

            Surviving relatives in addition to his parents include his maternal grandmother, Daniela McClellan, Ozark; paternal grandparents, Kim Cook Maund, Ariton; Garrett Maund, Clayton; paternal great-grandparents, Steve and Sue Napier Maund, and Sandra Hartzog Strickland, all of Ozark; aunts and uncles, Troy Martin (Stephanie), Kristin Martin, Steven Maund, Sara Frances Maund and Molly Maund; great aunts and great uncles, Troy Maund, Dothan; Bert and Leeanne Maund, Ozark; Jerald Cook (Susan), Ariton and Jeff Cook (Amy), Jack, AL; a host of cousins and other relatives.

             Serving as active pallbearers will be Jonathan Stinson, Josh Bell, Curtis Danner, Kelley Strickland, Jose' Castillo, and Blake Garner.
