Elizabeth Hendersen Dozier

Elizabeth H. Dozier, 84, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday morning, February 18, 2014.

Private memorial services will be held in Dothan. Burial will follow at a later date in Sarasota National Cemetery. Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street has charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice of Dothan.

Mrs. Dozier was born in West Lynn, Massachusetts where she lived the early years of her life. She traveled the world as a Navy wife. In later years she was employed as a LPN for several years. She was an Episcopalian.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Dozier of Bradenton, FL; three children, Richard Dozier of Sacramento, CA, Robert Dozier of Dothan and Barbara Retzer of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Emma Retzer and Raymond Retzer.
