Ellis Hutto, age 83 a resident of Dothan died Monday afternoon April 22, 2019 in a local hospital after a short illness.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday April 25, 2019 in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Family First Funeral & Cremation Care directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ellis was born on February 27, 1936 to J.H. Hutto and Ethel Enfinger Hutto.  He was the third of seven children.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Johnnie Hutto and sister-in-law Lottie Hutto.

Survivors include 2 sons Everette Hutto (Lesley) of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Hutto (Sandy) Atlanta, GA, a daughter Laquetta Quinn of Brazoria, TX, 2 bothers Ray Hutto of Dothan, Chris Hutto (Darlene) of St. Louis, MO, 3 sisters Louise Ard of Dothan, Betty Bailey of Albany, GA, Sarah Gibbs (Floyd) of Winter Haven, FL and a grandson Scott Quinn.

Care for the Hutto family is being provided by Randy Crenshaw, Jason Shepard and the Family First staff.
