Eloise Beard, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born October 10, 1927 in Dale County to the late Connie Horne and Oleta Horne (Andrews) where she grew up on the family farm.

 

Funeral Services will be held at  11 AM, Monday, February 25, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service, burial to follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

 

Eloise was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister whom loved to cook and spend time with her family. She especially enjoyed baking her family birthday cakes. Eloise was known as a kind-spirited person. In her earlier years she worked in a school cafeteria as a manager.

 

Preceded in death by her husband: Benton Beard, and a sister; Tommie Ruth Obert.

 

Survivors include her daughter; Vicky Bagwell, son: Ronnie E. (Brenda) Beard; sister; Barbara (William) Paramore, grandchildren: Micah (Paihsleah) Beard, Josh (Ashley) Beard, Jade Bagwell, Logan (Samantha) Bagwell, Christopher (Kayln) Beard, Hannah (Evan) Ballard, and Abby Beard, great-grandchildren: Alexis, Aiden, Annalyn, and Thatcher Beard, Turner Helverston, and Jon Waylon Kight.
