Eloise Spivey, a loving soul, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023. Born on October 7, 1932, in Columbia, AL, Eloise was a cherished member of her community and a proud graduate of Headland High School.

A private graveside service will be held Sunday, July 02, 2023, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Doug Seale officiating. Ward Wilson is in charge of arrangements.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon D. Douglas and Daisy Clements Douglas, her beloved husband, Edward H. Spivey, her son, Eddie Spivey, her sisters, McGartha Nelson and Genelle Joiner, and her brother, Dewey Douglas. Her memory will be carried on by her daughter, Rebecca Owens (Ben Welborn), her grandsons, Justin Owens (Jessica), Kelton Welborn a granddaughter, Heather Owens. Two sisters-in-law, Ruth Douglas and Nell Odom, and several nieces and nephews.

Eloise's loving nature touched everyone she met. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
