Eloise Peacock Tucker, age 89, a resident of Graceville, formerly of Cottonwood, passed away January 30, 2014 at Signature Healthcare.

 

Born April 29, 1924 in Houston County to the late Wesley and Minnie Whitehead Peacock. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Tucker, a stepson, Wilson Tucker, and two sisters, Nellie McCardle and Runell Deese.

 

Survivors include one granddaughter and one grandson; four nieces and six nephews.

 

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2 PM from Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with Reverend Tony Deese officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 1 PM until service time at Calvary Baptist Church.
