Elon Chapman passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at home under hospice care. She was 100 years old.

 

Surviving are two sons; Arlen Chapman and David Chapman, both of Dothan.

 

Mrs. Chapman was born in Early County, Georgia, but was a long time resident of Dothan and Houston County. She was an active bowler at patricia lanes until the age of 94, and for many years attended Rose Hill Senior Center.

 

There will be a memorial service at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel at 2 P. M. Saturday, September 1, 2012 with Reverend Glenda Davis and Paul Beatros officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 P. M. one hour prior to the service
