Elsie Atchley Nelson of Enterprise, AL, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, in Enterprise.  She was 88.

 

            Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 26, 2012, at Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 3 PM.

 

            Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by a son, Alto Hanks; daughter, Reather Waltman; sister, Agnes Grimes; brothers, Earl and Paul Atchley.

 

            Survivors include a daughter, Betty Tiner; 4 sons, Larry Hanks, Douglas Hanks, Manson Hanks, Herman Hanks; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Louise Wilson, Joyce Ryan, Sara Kennedy; 4 brothers, Kenneth Atchley, Jacky Atchley, Billy Atchley, Kermit Atchley.
