Ember Ann Marie Weissenberger, of Enterprise, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home.  She was 16.


A Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Pastor Johnny Bryant officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until the time of service.


Ember was born July 13, 2002, in Washington.  She was a member of the Enterprise High School ROTC.  She had a love for art, painting and drawing.  Aside from her father, Batman was her hero and she dreamed of being a heart surgeon.  She had a compassion for others and a love for the outdoors.


She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Barton Blake and her sister, Diana Jane Weissenberger.


Survivors include her parents, Andrew and Crystal Weissenberger; sister, Alisha Anne Marie Weissenberger; sister, Alexis Jane Weissenberger; brother, Robert Heath Godwin; brother, Arron Lee Godwin; sister, Emma Grace Edgar; sister, Natalie Claire Edgar and brother, Rollin River Edgar; grandfather, Michael Kirlis, Sr. of Twin Lake, MI; grandmother, Dorothy Blake of Enterprise and grandmother, Sue Thomasson of Enterprise; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
