Emerson B. Escoto, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on January 17, 2021. He was 52.


Emerson was born on March 13, 1968 in Manila, Philippines. He immigrated to Lancaster, California in 1983. After graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Rucker. Emerson resided in Dothan for several years prior to moving to Birmingham. He was incredibly savvy with technology and enjoyed building and programming computers. Emerson enjoyed training in the Martial Arts.


Survivors include his mother, Josefina Davis; his two daughters, Emily Escoto and Anna-Katherine Escoto; his four brothers, Joe (Leah) Escoto, Randy Alip, Angelito Alip, and Jason Escoto; his sister, Marie Escoto; the mother of his children, Mendi Farmer; and several nieces and nephews.
