Emmitt Glisson of the Goodman Community passed away, Monday, February 27, 2012 at his home.  He was 68.

 

          Funeral services will be held at Goodman Baptist Church on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Goodman Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

 

          Mr. Glisson was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lilly Glisson, three brothers, Buford, James and Harold Glisson, two sisters, Jewell McDurmont and Alma Caylor.

 

          Survivors include two sisters, Avis Childree, Enterprise, AL; Sue Gibson, Milton, FL; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
