MIDLAND  CITY. . .Eric Grantham, a resident of Midland City, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021. He was 54.

   Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, Dothan, with Reverend Stephen Alsleben officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 2643 Murphy Mill Road, Dothan, AL 36303.

   Eric Grantham was born in Valdosta, Georgia and moved to Midland City as a child. He lived in Midland City most of his lifetime and was a 1985 graduate of the Dale County High School. He was employed by B. H Williams Construction Company as a Carpenter. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Jack Grantham.

   Surviving relatives include two sons, Derek Grantham, Johnson City, TN; and Kevin Grantham, Slocomb; his mother, Anita Grantham, Midland City; two sisters, Cathy Arkless, Carlisle, Arkansas; and Gabriele “Sissy” Gifford, Midland City; two brothers, Jack Grantham, Jr., and Jimmy W. Jones, Midland City; his girlfriend, Alisa Smith, Napier Field; several nieces and nephews.
