Grace Estelene Boutwell Helms 93 of Brundidge, AL passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. Funeral services will be held at St. John Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Averyt Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at St. John Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

She leaves behind her daughter, Deborah Helms (Danny) Sheffield of Brundidge, AL, daughter, Nancy Helms (Butch) Jordan of Panama City Beach, FL, daughter, Judy Helms (Charlie) McDonough of Mobile, AL, granddaughter, Ashley (Dr. Lawrence) Johnston of Troy, AL, grandson, Daniel (Jessy Helms) Sheffield of Prattville, AL, granddaughter, Kalyn Jordan of Panama City Beach, FL, granddaughter, Savannah (Wesley) Calhoun of Lynn Haven, FL, granddaughter, Victoria McDonough of Houston, TX, great granddaughter, Anise Johnston of Troy, AL, great granddaughter, Roanan Yuhas of Panama City Beach, FL, and sister, Tiny Wise of Elba, AL. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dean Helms, and her parents Dewey and Haughty Peacock Boutwell and brother Kenneth Boutwell. 

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Helms family.
