EUGENE PRIGMORE, JR.

DOTHAN.…Eugene Prigmore, Jr., a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, January 11, 2021, at a Dothan hospital. He was 78.

            A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2021,  at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Brother Jake Mathis officiating. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            Mr. Prigmore was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma to the late Eugene Clarence Prigmore and Wanda Jo Turner Prigmore Hunt. After graduating high school, Eugene served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he retired after twenty-one years. After his retirement from the military, he was an electronics instructor for over twenty years at Moore-Norman Votech in Norman, OK. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Dothan.

            Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dewayne Prigmore.

            Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife Donna Cherie Oram Prigmore; his daughter, Lori Haddan (Ronald) of Dothan, AL; his sons, Cory Prigmore (Shari) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Cary Prigmore of Tulsa, OK, Terry Prigmore (Lori) of Yukon, OK, Jody Prigmore (Kaia) of Midwest, OK, Jamie Prigmore (Regina) of Oklahoma City, OK; his sisters, Brenda Joy and June; and his sister-in-law, Brenda Kay; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
