Eura Lee Evans

Eura Lee Evans, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 1, 2021. She was 87 years old.

Private graveside services will be held in Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 4-6 pm.

Mrs. Evans was born on July 4, 1934 in Pansey, Alabama. She was a wonderful mother and enjoyed cooking for all those she loved. Mrs. Evans loved to talk on the phone, play checkers, win at dominoes, and loved fashion.

Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her parents George and Rose Nelson Thomas; her father, Ed Parker; her husband, Howard Evans; and several of her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Ray (Gail) Snell, Ella Lowery, Betty Thomas, James (Cheryl) Snell, and Russell (Paula) Snell; her 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Troy Parker, Della Jones, Carrie Dunkin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
