Eural M. Hicks passed away on Saturday November 8, 2014 at Extendicare Healthcare Center at the age of 93.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Ashford City Cemetery with Reverend Jack Wingate officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Hicks was a member of Watermark Church. He was a WWII Veteran and a truck driver for 50 plus years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew Hicks and Viola Forrester Hicks, wife Maggie Hicks, sons Dennis Hicks, Stanley Hicks, and grandson Heath Hicks.
Survivors include son Steve Hicks and his wife Joan of Ashford; daughters-in-law Laura Hicks, Margie Hicks, brother J.W. Hicks and his wife Bernice grandchildren Michael Hicks, Chris Hicks (Janet), Andy Hicks (Debbie), Craig Hicks (Lindsey), Hayden Hicks (Alicia), great-grandchildren Conner, Blake and Harrison Hicks, and several other family members.
